Description

Swim Joy is focused on creating happy experiences for individuals as they become water safe and learn the basics of strokes. We are sanctioned by Swimming South Africa and all our teachers are qualified in basic CPR and first aid.
We believe that learning to swim should be a pleasant experience, that will shape our little swimmers perception of swimming and water in a positive way.
We know that a child’s work is their play and that they learn best by doing. Lessons are filled with songs and games through which the basic water safety, water orientation and basic strokes are taught. Learning to swim is a life-skill that needs to be learned by all. We start teaching from 1 years old to Adults.
Our lessons are designed to suit each swimmer in their stage of development. Lessons are filled with games and songs to enhance the learning experience and allows the swimmer to progress along the scale to their development ability. We support the idea that “Progressions are like puzzle pieces that come together to form the over all picture of swimming”. Our swimming pool is heated all year round and is situated in a lovely child friendly garden.
