STACKS is a scientific movement-skills and sports-conditioning academy focused on helping children learn the correct movement-skill techniques whilst at the crucial learning ages. This is achieved through correcting and reconstructing functional movement-skills. The aim is the long-term development of their overall wellbeing and sporting abilities with the goal of preventing incorrect motor skill habits being formed at a young age. Learning the correct motor skills enables children to conquer everyday activities and enjoy sporting activities while decreasing their risk of injury.

WHAT DOES STACKS DO?
We use scientific testing to examine and assess movement problems, maturational status and fitness. These results allow us to develop specialised training sessions, which are specific and individualised. We then have the information to reconstruct functional movement-skills and improve sports-conditioning. The following are some of the components addressed in our training sessions: developing fundamental motor skills through specific activities; corrective movement technique; injury prevention; strength; power; speed; agility; balance; coordination; endurance; flexibility; fitness; proprioception (spatial awareness).
