A return to the roots of Kung-Fu.We want to teach the practice of real martial arts to children of all ages, using one of a kind technique. We specialize in teaching children that are in primary and/or secondary schools. The type of Kung Fu we practice is Shaolin (Wushu) Northern and Southern styles.

With improved critical thinking, we gain the ability to deal with pressure, even in the most difficult situations, all while making us sharper and more resourceful. Today, Evolve Daily shares four ways martial arts enhances critical thinking.

There are plenty more reasons to try our classes out in a safe, professional, and caring environment. First visitors can be accompanied by their parents to see what we do. Every student welcome!

A wide variety of possibilities are on offer to you. We have classes for both children and adults alike. Different class times for your convenience should help you to achieve your goal/s quicker. We also offer private sessions to those that request them.

Somerset West Kung Fu Academy is utilising a unique smart application called HEJA to organise events and students alike. With this simple to use application everything and everyone can be in sink with their schedules, events, information, etc. - dynamically !

Pre-schools, Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Private Schools, etc. also welcome to enquire regarding classes at your location/s. Teachers are most welcome to visit us or even have us visit them. We do give Kung Fu classes to some Pre-schools and Primary Schools already (easy references available).

    Excellent Kungfu lessons
    My daughter was enrolled a year now at SWest Kungfu Academy . Sifu is very practical and patient with the learners. Has a great demeanour as well . My daughter is excited to attend every week !

    Best Kung Fu school!
    My son loves training with the Academy. He's only 6 years old and they made him feel welcome in every way even tho some moves were a bit tricky for him! Always nice to see him so excited to come back home & showing us what he had learned. Keep it up!

    Mind, body and life advantages
    My son started at the beginning of 2018. He has grown in so many ways because of Kung fu and the kind and dedicated mentorship of Sifu Andre. Kung fu has helped him mature, focus, get physically fit and strong but also given him skills of leadership, concentration, humility and respect. Highly recommend this martial art and especially this school! We feel proud to be part of it!

    SW KF Academy
    My son has been with SiFu Andre since Jan 2017, and he still loves it. He has learned so much over the last few years, improved tremendously as SiFu Andre really goes out of his way for the kids. I'm proud that my son is part of this establishment and wish him and all the other students best of luck going forward, I know things isn't easy right now... Thank you SiFu for your dedication and hard work with our kids.

    extraordinary Activities for everyone
    this activities make a lot of change of my boy. He become more confidence and I really really grateful we as a parent force him to join this kung fu, because at first time he doesn't want and so shy. Shifu Andrew is a very good Shifu. He approaches all his team member with patience, care and attention. Keep up the very extraordinary work and keep success
