Description
My name is Penelope Jones, I own PJ's Perfect Dancers in Edenvale. I am a registered teacher with DASA & Associate 1 Dance Cor (Modern teacher). I am teach Progressive Ballet Training to build the core. I am a passionate & dynamic Dance teacher offering Ballet/Modern on Saturdays and weekdays at my studio in 7 Page Ave, Eastleigh Ridge, Edenvale. My classes are fun, structured, building confidence & self-expression. I believe in giving every child a chance to shine in his/her own way.
I teach ballet to girls & boys from the age of about 2.5 yrs old through to Majors from the DASA syllabus and Modern to 3yrs old to 10yrs old from the Dance Cor syllabus, as well as using my experience from dancing the Cecchetti and RAD methods taught to me by Cynthia Bevan and Ms. Jose Pretorius, before & while attending the Johannesburg High School for Art, Ballet, Drama and Music in Braamfontein.
Join me on Saturdays and during the week in Edenvale to learn the art & love of dance & performance in Edenvale. I have been teaching for many years & I want to pass on my passion for dance to young dancers and give them every opportunity to grow as a dancer using my knowledge I have gained over the years.
Dance teaches expression, poise, the love of movement and music & develops fine and gross motor skills. I encourage flexibility, teach how to build the core muscles and always encourage pupils to be proud of the journey they are individually taking. During the year we do the following:

NSDT Badge tests which include:
National Dances
Classical/Demi Dances
Modern Dances
DASA exams which include:
Tiny Tots to Major exams/class awards
Solo Awards
American Performance Awards
Classical/Demi Dances
Modern Dances
This year I am doing a major production "Clash of the Seasons"
