Description
Welcome to Little Bugs Edu-Play. We are a small playschool providing a home-away-from-home environment with attentive and caring staff. Tanja Kotze, the founder of the school, is an experienced teacher committed to each child's well-being. Teacher Tanja has fostered a warm, nurturing environment where little ones can settle in, have fun, and develop new skills.

* Hours: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm
* Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided
* Potty-training
* Daily feedback about your child's day

The small size of our school creates a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that helps children feel at ease and less overwhelmed than they might in a large setting.

We follow a play-based curriculum with daily activities planned around themes. Research shows that young children learn best through play, as it enables them to learn about themselves, people, and the world around them.

Development however is not automatic but depends on a child having opportunities to interact with others in supportive, enabling environments. We take a balanced approach to a play-based learning space while ensuring the children develop specific skills.

We have a mixed-age group of 18 children. Younger children's exposure to different play scenarios enhances their understanding of the world, while older children develop patience and problem-solving skills by including younger children in their play. Siblings can strengthen their bond and share their play dynamics with the group. Although we group the children by age for specific activities and outcomes, their overall experience is enriched when engaging with peers of all ages.

    Little Bugs Edu Play
    Our son went to Little Bugs from 2017 when he was two years old to 2019 when he was five. Tanja and her assistants were great throughout! When he started Grade R this year he was as ready as can be. Thanks team Little Bugs!

    Our nephew attends Tanya’s playschool and he has grown in leaps and bounds! She genuinely cares about her children and this is evident in the loving relationship they have with her. Highly recommended!
