We are one of the largest, single owned, unique, successful Martial Arts organizations on this side of the Equator. The Henri Eksteen Fight Club was founded by its Grandmaster Henri Eksteen in 1999, a current holder of a legitimate 10th Degree Black belt - the youngest Martial Artist ever on the African continent with this esteemed ranking status. The Dojo is situated within the province/city of peace known as Polokwane, Limpopo in South Africa. Eksteen's Dojo needs no real explanation as it is well known all over the globe - however without any doubt the unique way in which the students are being taught have proven above satisfactory results which simply speak for themselves most certainly falling into a league of their own. Eksteen conducts very much the "old ways" in his teachings of Karate do art especially as it well should be going back centuries to the Okinawan Islands where the ancient arts derived from being only one way - the hard way. According to Eksteen most Karate schools have watered down their training tactics to such a degree it would prove useless within a real life and death situation should he/she encounter such an ordeal therefore would be simply detrimental to the practitioner. The classes conducted by Eksteen are extremely regimented and very military like showing very clearly as to how Eksteen himself was taught in the 70's by his peers at the time as a teenager moving on to the mid 80's where he served as an Air Force soldier during his compulsory military training during the Apartheid era of South Africa for a couple of years obtaining his National Defense Force colors in 1984 for Karate which till this day is worn on his different Karate Gi's with the most absolute dignity and utmost pride. Eksteen is one of only 3 SA members left from that era who is still teaching today in South Africa and these grueling training methods being passed onto his students have made them a force to be reckoned with today.
