Chris Folker’s academy (CF Tennis) provides the Pietermaritzburg, Hilton & KZN Midlands region with tennis & generic sport related pro-coaching services for children age 3 +. CF Tennis has over 20 years experience in the development, marketing, and management of tennis programs for various private and government schools.
We coach throughout the year and have access to in-door facilities in Hilton.
CF Tennis offers the following services:
CF Sport Stars (ages 3 to 7):
• With Sport Stars, our focus is on tennis, however I have found that at this age a lot of the drills leading up to the correct techniques required for tennis are also used for other sports, and there is a lot of overlapping too.
We focus on ball, tracking, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, footwork & balance sessions for ages 3 – 7. These group (6 to 10) sessions are 30-40 minutes in duration, held directly after school at select schools in the PMB / Hilton area.
CF Tennis Coaching (ages 7 +):
• Private, semi private and group tuition (Grade RR to Adult) to suit the individual’s specific tennis goals
• Squad coaching for the more serious players
• Social Junior Club designed for interaction (Friday tennis at the Hilton club)
• Cardio tennis for those that want to stay fit + healthy (adults)
• Tournaments and Family Tennis days
• The academy offers high quality training, helping each player individually to find out their best qualities and to develop to their fullest potential.
• Our main goal is to have an individualized attention and close relationships with each tennis player attending tennis training at the Academy.
Holiday Clubs (ages 4 to 12) here we have fun over holidays!
