All-round exercise and cultural experience

A really energetic and enthusiastic martial arts school that takes many forms of exercise and combines them into one game - fitness, self defence, routines, acrobatics and gymnastics, routines and sequences. I love watching my kids grow in skill and confidence and they really enjoy all the different aspects that the game has to offer. It's not just about the excelling in the exercises, its also about the music, the heritage, and the respect. A great holistic approach to exercise and staying fit, and a wonderful way of keeping my kids engaged without them feel like it is a chore. Fun all the way! Well done ;-)

My kids are hooked, all 3 of them and they are extremely passionate about it. They have talents in the martial art in their own unique ways and this just speaks to who they are as people. Capoeira has created a space where they are able to be just who they are and are accepting and welcoming of who others join. If you are looking for a sport to do as a family or something to help build confidence in your child or yourself or you’re just looking for a fun challenging workout, Capoeira is it! I am delighted to write this review about my experience at Amanzi Scuba & Swim Centre. After only 4 lessons, I started believing that - I will be able to swim even at 53!! This is all because of the very professional teaching skills of Carien! not only she created in me the great confidence, but she always made it fun and joyful! I enjoyed every single session I had so far and I always looked forward to it!! no matter how cold or busy or lazy I was, that did not prevent me from jumping to my car and going there. Last week I was so happy to discover the joy of the water aerobic with Colleen, it was so nice, I cannot wait to experience that again!! It is not just about learning to swim or excising, it is also about the warm atmosphere the school provides. I visited 3 pools around and I cannot compare the level of comfort, hygiene, , quality of water, personal relations, warm welcome, being accommodating..etc..etc.!! I am privileged to be your student!!! Thank you for the great job you are doing, kindness and caring. I would certainly recommend Amanzi Scuba & Swim Centre! and I give it a score of 10/10!
