As a proud parent of 2children where my daughter has started and my son hesitated. With my son walking in and out during dropin and pickup, he too joined later with the interest he got in observation. Never say NO to go to classes. It's another home for them where they have good time with Sensei's and the classes they make them are interesting. Yes Sunninghill Shotokon with Sensei Rajen and Sensei Nad have played a major role in our children's lives. The kids gained concentration, attention and physically keeping strong. Thank you is a just a word, yes no words can describe the amount I would like to appreciate and Thank them. Joining is normal but how they take it is in the hands of Karatekas and Sensei's and yes happiness with what we experienced and experiencing.

I am proud Sunninghill Shotokan Karate parent and have been for the last 4 years.. I have seen the difference that Karate and especially training with Sunninghill Shotokan Karate has made to my young lady.. Sensei Nad Naicker and Sensei Rajen Moodley really have the best interest of their karatekas at heart and that shines through in everything that they do with and for the kids at the dojo.. While there is a familial feeling to the whole dojo, when it comes to training it is strictly business and the kids get their fair share of tough love.. All-round exercise and cultural experience

A really energetic and enthusiastic martial arts school that takes many forms of exercise and combines them into one game - fitness, self defence, routines, acrobatics and gymnastics, routines and sequences. I love watching my kids grow in skill and confidence and they really enjoy all the different aspects that the game has to offer. It's not just about the excelling in the exercises, its also about the music, the heritage, and the respect. A great holistic approach to exercise and staying fit, and a wonderful way of keeping my kids engaged without them feel like it is a chore. Fun all the way! Well done ;-)

My kids are hooked, all 3 of them and they are extremely passionate about it. They have talents in the martial art in their own unique ways and this just speaks to who they are as people. Capoeira has created a space where they are able to be just who they are and are accepting and welcoming of who others join. If you are looking for a sport to do as a family or something to help build confidence in your child or yourself or you’re just looking for a fun challenging workout, Capoeira is it! The motto at Valente …. Seja Valente (Be brave) says it all and I promise that the Valente family are there to support you. They have to my family...
